Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 23, 2026

These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you use 215 Notary LLC’s website, contact forms, appointment request forms, phone, email, text messaging, mobile notary services, remote online notary services, loan signing services, and related notary services.

By using our website, requesting an appointment, submitting a form, calling, texting, emailing, or scheduling a service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Services Provided

215 Notary LLC provides notary-related services, which may include:

Mobile notary services
Remote Online Notary services
Loan signing services
General notary services
Document signing appointments
Related appointment coordination and communication

Services are provided by appointment and are subject to availability, signer qualification, document readiness, identity verification, and applicable law.

No Legal Advice

215 Notary LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

We do not draft legal documents, explain the legal effect of documents, choose which notarial act is required, or advise you on whether a document should be signed, notarized, recorded, filed, or submitted.

You are responsible for contacting an attorney, title company, lender, document provider, or other qualified professional if you need legal, financial, tax, real estate, or document-related advice.

Document Responsibility

You are responsible for making sure your documents are complete, accurate, ready for signing, and suitable for notarization before the appointment.

215 Notary LLC is not responsible for incomplete documents, incorrect documents, missing pages, incorrect signer names, missing certificate wording, incorrect notarial wording, or documents rejected by a third party due to issues outside our control.

We may refuse service if a document appears incomplete, if required information is missing, if the signer is not willing or able to proceed, or if the requested notarization cannot be performed under applicable law.

Signer Identification and Willingness

Each signer must provide acceptable identification and must be personally present for the notarial act, whether in person or through an approved Remote Online Notary platform.

Each signer must be willing to sign and must appear to understand the nature of the transaction. We may refuse service if there are concerns about identity, willingness, awareness, coercion, fraud, document completeness, or legal compliance.

Remote Online Notary Services

Remote Online Notary services require access to the required technology, including a compatible device, internet connection, camera, microphone, identity verification process, and approved online notary platform.

Not all documents are eligible for Remote Online Notary service. Some receiving parties, government agencies, title companies, lenders, courts, or other institutions may have their own acceptance rules.

You are responsible for confirming that the receiving party will accept a remotely notarized document before scheduling or completing the appointment.

Appointments and Availability

Appointments are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by 215 Notary LLC.

Submitting a website form, voicemail, text message, email, or online appointment request does not automatically confirm an appointment.

We may contact you to confirm appointment details, signer information, document type, location, timing, pricing, and availability before accepting the appointment.

Fees and Payment

Fees may vary based on the type of service, number of notarizations, number of signers, appointment location, travel time, urgency, printing requirements, scan-back requirements, waiting time, after-hours requests, Remote Online Notary platform requirements, and other service needs.

Payment may be required before, during, or immediately after the appointment, depending on the service requested.

Loan signing, title, escrow, lender, and business-to-business appointments may be invoiced or paid according to the agreed terms.

Fees are not guaranteed until confirmed by 215 Notary LLC.

Travel, Waiting Time, and Additional Appointment Needs

Mobile appointments may include travel-related charges, waiting time, additional appointment charges, re-trip charges, printing charges, scan-back charges, courier-related charges, or other service-related fees when applicable and agreed upon.

If the signer is unavailable, does not have acceptable identification, refuses to sign, lacks required witnesses, presents incomplete documents, changes the appointment location, or is not ready at the scheduled time, additional charges may apply.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation fees, travel fees, waiting time fees, or other charges may apply if the appointment has already been confirmed, travel has started, printing has been completed, or time has been reserved for your service.

For loan signing or business-to-business appointments, cancellation and payment terms may be handled according to the terms agreed with the hiring company, title company, escrow company, lender, signing service, or other requesting party.

No Guarantee of Acceptance by Third Parties

215 Notary LLC does not guarantee that any notarized document will be accepted, approved, recorded, filed, funded, processed, or relied upon by any third party.

Acceptance may depend on the receiving party, document type, jurisdiction, recording office, lender, title company, government agency, court, financial institution, or other organization.

You are responsible for confirming document requirements before scheduling service.

Refusal of Service

215 Notary LLC may refuse or stop service when necessary, including but not limited to situations involving:

Insufficient identification
Signer unwillingness or confusion
Suspected fraud or coercion
Incomplete documents
Missing notarial wording
Unsafe conditions
Illegal requests
Requests outside our authority
Technology failure for Remote Online Notary appointments
Failure to pay agreed fees
Behavior that is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate
